Driver and Vehicle Services gets alerted

The Department of Transport (DoT) has established an Alert Us line to provide an avenue for Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) customers who wish to report suspicious, unethical or corrupt behaviour relating to a driver, a vehicle or a person's identity.
DoT's Director General, Richard Sellers said reporting suspicious, unethical or corrupt behaviour actively helps DVS improve business practices and provides valuable information to help reduce unlawful and suspicious activity.
"If a person believes someone may be committing unlawful acts when performing their licensing duties, they should contact DoT via Alert Us.
"It is important DVS customers have an avenue to report this kind of activity should they have reason to believe a person's safety or identity is at risk", Mr Sellers said.
All reports will be taken seriously and even a small amount of information can help identify fraud trends, high-risk activities and issues that should be monitored.
"The Alert Us line is another way in which we can ensure DoT's safety and compliance responsibilities are to the highest standard", Mr Sellers said.
