Concession RAV entry
  • manufacturer intends to provide four or less, low or high, aggregate trailer mass (ATM) trailers in a 12-month period
  • manufacturer can apply whether they are incorporated or not (does or does not have an Australian Company Number (ACN) issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
  • manufacturer to create a ROVER account through the Commonwealth website.

Vehicle Type Approval

(incorporated with an ACN issued by ASIC)

  • manufacturer intends to provide high ATM trailers in unlimited volume or more than 4 low ATM trailers in a 12-month period
  • manufacturer is incorporated and has an ACN
Note: A manufacturer must have an ACN issued by ASIC to be eligible to apply for an Australian world manufacturer identifier (WMI) to become an accredited VIN submitter with National Exchange of Vehicle and Driver Information System (NEVDIS).
 
Self-issued by manufacturer

Vehicle Type Approval

(not incorporated)

  • manufacturer intends to provide high ATM trailers in unlimited volume or more than 4 low ATM trailers in a 12-month period
  • manufacturer is not incorporated and does not have an ACN
  • manufacturer to engage a VIN submission agent as without an ACN they cannot become a VIN Submitter with NEVDIS.
