Green Head Maritime Facility

Green Head Maritime Facility includes a service jetty, boat ramp, fish cleaning facilities and parking.

The maritime facility is close to the centre of Green Head, a small coastal town situated 288 kilometres north of Perth.

The many bays, islands and reefs along the coastline are popular for fishing, diving and other water activities. There is also a local sea lion breeding colony.

Facilities

Service jetty

The timber L-shaped jetty provides single and three phase power, water and lighting.

Wharf load limits
  • Berth load: 50 tonne displacement vessel berthing at a maximum of 0.3 m/s at a maximum approach angle of 15°
  • Stack load: 750 kg/m²
  • Crane load: 5 tonnes gross weight
  • Vehicle load: M9 standard load

Boat ramp

There is a concrete dual lane boat ramp with wooden finger jetty that is operated by the Shire of Coorow. 

Fish cleaning facility

There is a fish cleaning table available. 

Public toilets

There are public toilets and an outdoor cold-water shower available near the jetty and boat ramp.

Parking

There is sealed car and boat trailer parking located near the jetty.

Green Head Maritime Facility’s service jetty can be used for casual, overnight or emergency vessel accommodation on request.
