PTSS for participants

This section provides information for Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) participants, including managing your participation and how to catch a subsidised journey.

The Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) replaces the Taxi User Subsidy Scheme (TUSS) from 1 March 2025.

PTSS provides a subsidy to eligible people with disability, when travelling in on-demand rank or hail (taxi) vehicles.

All taxi drivers in WA are legally required to accept the PTSS card as part payment for a fare.

The Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) Guidelines for Participants outline rules and responsibilities for PTSS participants and applicants. Note: Misuse of PTSS may result in administrative or legal consequences.
