WA Bike Month has run for over 30 years and is our state’s flagship celebration of bike riding.
It’s an opportunity for everyone, whether a new, novice or rusty rider, to explore our world class paths and trails, see more of their community, and discover the joy and benefits that bike riding has to offer.
Each year, grant funding is made available to local governments, workplaces, schools, bike groups and community organisations to host events that support and inspire people to give bike riding a go.
Get involved this October! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram (@WABikeMonth) to stay up-to-date.
WA Bike Month is a Department of Transport initiative, supported by RAC and administered by Western Australia’s peak body for cycling, WestCycle. In 2024, grant funding included $50,000 from DoT and $25,000 from RAC.
