The Department of Transport makes available a number of grants and funding programs for stakeholders to work in partnership to bring about active transport solutions across the state.

Connecting Schools Grants

Grant funding is available to participating Western Australian Your Move Schools, and aims to improve their bike access, skills and infrastructure.

WA Bicycle Network Grants Program

A State Government initiative providing a funding source to local governments to help create infrastructure and initiatives to encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride more often.

WA Bike Month Grants

Grant funding is available to local governments, workplaces, schools, bike groups and community organisations to host events that support and inspire people to give bike riding a go.
