Get pedalling this National Ride2Work Day

On Wednesday 14 October, leave the car at home and bike some or all of the way to work.

National Ride2Work Day is Australia’s biggest celebration of commuter riding, and Western Australians are encouraged to play their part and give it a go.

Riding offers a great way to get some exercise, avoid traffic and enjoy the outdoors before and after work. It’s also a cost-effective way to travel, avoiding fuel and parking costs.

The national recognition day falls within WA Bike Month and is a good opportunity to join those already convinced of the benefits and consider how riding can become part of a regular routine.

There’s an amazing network of shared paths for riding in WA. So, whether you try it solo or round up your colleagues, get on your bike for an easy, safe and scenic ride to work.
