AI chatbot

Welcome to the Transport WA AI chatbot (T‑Bot)

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) has developed T‑Bot, an AI-powered chatbot designed to help you find information quickly from the Transport WA website. T‑Bot is available 24/7 to answer common questions about licensing, vehicle registration, public transport, and other transport services in Western Australia.

T‑Bot is powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI and is governed by DTMI's AI Steering Committee in accordance with the WA Government AI Policy and Assurance Framework.

By using T‑Bot, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

What T‑Bot can do

T‑Bot can help you with:

  • Finding information published on the Transport WA website
  • Answering common questions about transport services, licensing, registrations, and fees
  • Providing links to relevant pages, forms, and resources

T‑Bot is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use of the chatbot is prohibited.

How T‑Bot works

T‑Bot uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to respond to your questions. It searches content from the Transport WA website and provides answers based on that information.

While T‑Bot's responses are generated by AI and may seem conversational, they are not provided by a human. All responses are created automatically by the AI system.

Important limitations and responsibilities
