Exmouth Boat Harbour repair works

Several areas of the harbour were impacted following ex-tropical cyclone Narelle earlier in 2026. Repairs are underway, however, there may be some temporary disruptions. We apologise for the inconvenience and are taking all reasonable steps to minimise disruption to harbour users, nearby businesses and the community.

Electrical Repair Works

DTMI apologies for the inconvenience relating to the ongoing interruption to services at EBH following cyclone Narelle. DTMI have now been advised it may be weeks before permanent reenergising can be completed.

Given this advice, DTMI will be proceeding with immediate supply of generators to both the B-Pens and Charter Pens until such time that mains power can be reliably restored. During this period, we encourage penholders to limit their consumption to essential use only.

Again, DTMI wishes to apologise for the inconvenience and looks forward to mains power being restored shortly.

General Harbour Repairs

Due to the extensive damage caused by Cyclone Narelle, several areas of the harbour have been impacted. Restoration works are currently underway.

Coastal Protection Repair Works

Coastal protection repair works at Exmouth Boat Harbour are scheduled to commence on the 20th of July 2026 and will continue for several months.

Project details

Works will generally be undertaken between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday.

To ensure community safety, sections of the work area will be temporarily closed to the public for the duration of the works. These areas will be clearly marked as exclusion zones.

Access to surrounding areas will be maintained where possible, however some temporary changes may be required.

Delivery of materials and equipment to site may result in temporary increase of traffic and access changes in the harbour area.

DTMI will take all reasonable steps to minimise disruption to harbour users, nearby businesses and the community.
