Area of Closure: All the waters bounded by a line commencing from a point on Henry Sutton Park at 32° 31.812'S, 115° 42.777'E, thence following the shoreline into the northern entrance of the Port Mandurah Canal approximately 175 meters in from the entrance at 32° 31.922'S 115° 42.752' E, thence in a south-east direction to a point on the southern side of the canal entrance at 32° 31.951'S, 115° 42.760'E, thence following the shoreline into the Mandurah Estuary to the northern jetty of the community swimming area at Kings Carnival at 32° 32.004'S, 115° 42.978'E, thence in an east north-east direction to Mandurah Tidal Pool at 32° 31.978' S, 115° 43.076'E, thence in a northerly direction to Port Lateral marker 623 at 32° 31.820' S, 115° 43.064'E, thence in a north-west direction to the Southern side of the gangway onto Stingray Wharf at 32° 31.729' S, 115° 42.931' E, thence in a south-west direction to the point of commencement at Henry Sutton Park at 32° 31.812'S, 115° 42.777'E
Conditions of Closure:
No vessel shall transit through, anchor or moor within the closed waters area.
Bonafide vessels associated with the fireworks display are exempt from the closure.
Swimming is prohibited in the above area of closure.
This area is set aside for safety measures during the set up and display of pyrotechnics.
During the closure times, all vessels are requested to remain anchored outside of the closure area until the all-clear is given via VHF radio and all blue flashing lights are switched off.
Vessels over 15 metres who would like to drop anchor are advised to arrive before 12 noon on the day of the event.

Notice to Mariners
Mariners are hereby advised that construction activities for the duplication of the Mandurah Estuary Bridge (Mandurah Road) are currently in progress and will continue until late 2025.
These construction works will not obstruct navigational traffic through the designated navigation channel, which will remain accessible for vessels traveling both upstream and downstream of the bridge.
Construction barges, spotter vessels, and work vessels will be active within the construction zone.
Operators will be monitoring VHF Channel 16, and all vessels will display appropriate lights and shapes in accordance with the Prevention of Collisions at Sea Regulations 1983 at all times.
Mariners are requested to exercise caution and reduce speed, wake, and wash when navigating through this area during ongoing operations.

Mariners are advised that a submerged concrete block has been reported to be in Batavia Quays Mandurah at the below location.
The block is reported to be approximately 300mm in height from the riverbed reducing charted water depths. A temporary Isolated Danger mark equipped with a flashing light has been deployed.
Mariners are reminded to be aware of underwater hazards during times of low tides when navigating in the Peel region.
