The businesses identified in the attached list have been authorised by the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure to conduct regulated (crash) towing in Western Australia.
The requirement for towing businesses to be authorised is being introduced in stages:
- Perth and Peel: 1 September 2026
- South West Region: 1 October 2026
- Rest of Western Australia: 1 November 2026
Businesses operating in areas where authorisation has not yet commenced may continue providing regulated (crash) towing services without an authorisation until the relevant commencement date for their region. However, all towing businesses remain subject to the requirements of the Towing Services Act 2024 and the Towing Services Regulations 2025, regardless of whether authorisation is currently required in their area.
