On-demand Transport Industry Reference Group

The On-demand Transport Industry Reference Group (OdTIRG) provides a forum for constructive dialogue between the on-demand transport industry and the Department of Transport (DoT). Learn more about the OdTIRG’s role, responsibilities and membership.

Purpose

The purpose of the OdTIRG is to:

  • provide an effective forum for constructive dialogue between the on-demand transport industry and DoT;
  • exchange information, understanding and feedback on the status of operational or strategic matters of interest for the on-demand industry; and
  • ensure active consultation with DoT regarding on-demand transport industry issues, specifically with the On-demand Transport Policy Intelligence and Education Team.

Membership

The OdTIRG represents a range of WA on-demand transport industry stakeholders, including: 

  • Perth metropolitan and regional on-demand booking services (ODBSs);
  • passenger transport drivers; and
  • on-demand charter operators (including wedding car / limousine and bus operators).
