
The Albany Waterfront Marina is located in the Albany town centre on the Princess Royal Harbour foreshore.
The waterfront marina precinct offers dining, retail and entertainment options, as well as walking trails with excellent views over the bay. The adjacent Port of Albany is a major hub for fishing and other commercial industries.
The marina’s facilities include a two-lane boat ramp with floating jetty, well-equipped service wharf, a fixed timber jetty suitable for larger vessels, a short term visitors jetty, a fishing platform and boat pens for recreational and commercial vessels.
Harbour facilities
Boat ramp
There is a two-lane boat ramp with a floating universal access jetty, and car and boat trailer parking.
Service wharf
The land-backed concrete service wharf provides single and three phase power, refuelling, vehicle access and sullage pump out facilities.
Wharf load limits
- Berth load: Maximum 50 tonne displacement vessel 1/4 berthing at a maximum of 0.3 m/s (exposed)
- Mooring load: operational short term on VP= 18.0m/s wind and wave
- Stack load: 1500 kg/m²
- Crane load: Small mobile crane up to 20 tonne SWL
- Vehicle load: T44 standard vehicle load
Fuelling facility
There is a high flow diesel fuel facility on the service wharf. This service is provided by Fuel Distributors of Western Australia Pty Ltd and they may be contacted on 1300 693 392.
Floating visitor jetty
A floating visitor jetty is available to help passengers to safely embark and disembark from small recreational boats. Only short-term berthing is allowed.
Fixed timber jetty
A fixed timber jetty is available for larger vessel berthing with single and three phase power and water. This jetty is not within a gated secure area.
Toilets/showers
Accessible public toilets are available in the marina. An additional toilet/shower block and laundry is available for DoT penholders.
Public parking
There is public car and boat trailer parking with derigging bays available next to the boat ramp.
Fishing platform
An inclusive and accessible fishing platform is available at the marina.
Expired flare disposal
Flare disposal is available nearby at the Department of Transport Albany office, 178 Stirling Terrace, Albany.

Floating alongside berths and floating pens with a walkway are charged per metre of pen length. The fixed alongside berth option is charged per metre of the vessel length.
All fees quoted are inclusive of GST and should be paid in advance.
