Augusta Boat Harbour was opened in 2014 to service recreational and commercial boating, fishing, and the charter and tourism industries.
The harbour has steadily grown with investment from the aquaculture industry and eco-tourism and is well known as a tourist departure point for whale watching cruises and a popular location for community events, including the Gourmet Escape and Blessing of the Fleet.
The harbour has BBQs and a spacious grassed area perfect for picnics. Spectacular views of Flinders Bay can be seen from the harbour entrance road lookout.
Boating facilities include 40 boat pens, four lane boat ramp, well equipped service jetty, toilets, and showers.
