Leasing opportunities at coastal facilities in WA
The Department of Transport Maritime (DoT) works with Transport Portfolio Land and Property Services in administering leasing of land for maritime commercial and recreational purposes in Western Australia.
The Leasing Policy Maritime Property Commercial Leases (Policy) and Maritime Commercial Leasing Information Guidelines (Guidelines) provide clear guidance, governance on decisions, and commercial certainty to our leaseholders.
The current policy and guidelines were reviewed in 2024 which included consultation with Head Lessees and other stakeholders.
The DoT Community Leasing Policy will be reviewed in the near future.
Refer to the documents below for detailed information on DoT’s leasing requirements.
Note:
Leased properties may not be used for residential purposes.
