Planned outage impacting Joondalup Driver Assessment Centre and DoTDirect

We would like to advise that due to a scheduled network maintenance outage, Joondalup Driver Assessment Centre will be unable to complete transactions from 12.30pm, Saturday 13 January 2024. 

Transactions impacted include:
•    Driver’s licence and learner’s permit applications
•    Driver’s licence renewals and transfers
•    Photo cards and driver’s licence photos
•    Computerised theory and hazard perception tests

Customers will be able to conduct these transactions at Joondalup Driver Assessment Centre from 7.15am until 12.30pm tomorrow.

Practical driving assessments will continue after 12.30pm however successful candidates will not be able to make payment for their driver’s licence until the centre reopens on Monday. Unsuccessful candidates will not have their test outcome updated in the system until Monday. 

Our online services through DoTDirect such as payments, rego check, PDA bookings and changing your address will be offline. We anticipate that online services through DoTDirect will resume from 5.30pm. Regular maintenance is required to ensure optimal network performance to meet customer demand.
