Coral Bay Maritime Facility is located south of the Coral Bay town centre and services recreational, tourism, charter and commercial vessels. 

The facility offers a double lane boat ramp, 2 finger jetties, a service jetty, and 13 dinghy pens for commercial use. There is also parking and public toilets available. 

Coral Bay is close to Ningaloo Reef in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it a popular holiday destination for diving, swimming, snorkelling and fishing.

Service jetty

There is a service jetty may be used to drop off and pick up of passengers only.

Wharf load limits
  • Berth load:25 tonne displacement vessel berthing at a maximum 0.3 m/s with a maximum approach angle of 15°.
  • Stack load: 1500kg/m2.
  • Vehicle and crane load: Maximum gross load of 13.5 tonnes. Only one crane permitted at a time.

Pontoon jetty

Wharf load limits
  • Main pontoon: 13 vessels not exceeding 6 x 2.8 metres.
  • T-head pontoon (temporary berth only): 1 vessel not exceeding 12 x 5 metres.
  • Gangway load:400kg/m2

Boat ramp

There is a dual lane boat ramp with a sealed car and boat trailer parking area. 

Parking

There is a large car and trailer parking area.

Public toilets 

3 self-composting public toilets are located to the north of the car and boat trailer parking area.

All fees are charged per vessel, quoted are inclusive of GST and should be paid in advance.
