Chloe wanted to increase her chances of gaining full time employment and be able to get to work at night, without relying on her family for transport.

So, she signed up to MEEDAC’s driving program which is a Driving Access and Equity Program grant recipient.

Chloe completed 20 lessons with driving instructor Amanda, not missing a single one - a testament to Chloe’s dedication!

"I feel like Amanda understood my anxiety and my lack of confidence," said Chloe.

Amanda helped support Chloe through the lessons and helped build her confidence on the road.

Despite failing her first driving test, Chloe didn’t let that get her down, jumping right back in the car and passing her second driving test the next week.

"The first time I drove to work at night, I must admit I was looking for Amanda in the front seat and I couldn’t hear her telling me what to do…it was funny," said Chloe.

"I am thankful for the MEEDAC program, as it has changed my life considerably."
