Sisters, Ciara and Preveen both got their driver’s licence with the help of MEEDAC, a Driving Access and Equity Program grant recipient.

With their eldest sister caring for their family and helping to drive them around. Ciara wanted to get her licence and help out.

“After my sister Preveen had been through the program, I really wanted to go through it as well.  Especially now she has had her baby, I can not only help her, but I can help the rest of my family with taking them to appointments and hopefully this will also set me on the path of a job that I really love,” said Preveen.

Ciara passed her test and now has her licence and can provide some support to her sisters and mother.

“Thank you so much for the help I have received in helping me get my licence. This not only helps me with employment opportunities, but it also helps me with looking after my siblings.”
