Clifton is a step closer to getting his licence after attending a Department of Justice Open Day in Cue.

Our DoT Remote Service Officers were in attendance and helped Clifton sit his learner’s permit theory test.

Yulella Aboriginal Corporation, which is supported with a Driving Access and Equity Program grant, assisted Clifton in sourcing proof of identity documents and helped prepare him for his learner’s permit test.

Department of Justice Open Days help bring together different government departments and service providers so people can get help with identification, fines and driver's licence matters all in one location on the same day.

Clifton was excited that a licence could help broaden his career opportunities and provide more support for his family.
