Joanita’s licensing journey took her from daunted to delighted, but her determination was what saw her secure her P-plates.

Joanita received mentoring and instruction from Wunan Foundation in Kununurra, who were right behind her every step of the way.

“Joanita has tried very hard to get to this stage. We are all so proud of her to have passed her driving test and the freedom that comes with that,” said driving mentor Tarn.

The day she was told she had passed her practical driving assessment was one of Joanita’s happiest.
“I am feeling free. I have been saving to buy myself a car to get to work,” Joanita said.

“I am a step closer to achieving my goals. Thanks for helping disadvantaged learner drivers get their licence.”
