Steven from Broome was part of Kullari Regional Communities Indigenous Corporation’s Transition to Work Program. The organisation is supported through the Driving Access and Equity Program and aims to improve the lives people within the Kullari region by helping them to gain employment.

Steven was known as a quiet achiever and getting his driver’s licence was one of the important goals he’d set himself on his journey to seeking employment.

Having received the help he needed on his licensing journey, Steven passed his practical driving assessment and was justifiably proud.

He has since been offered employment, with his licence crucial to ensuring he can get to and from work independently.
