Transport Minister Rita Saffioti today released for comment a draft master plan to guide the development of Two Rocks Marina into a world-class destination over the next 40 years.

The plan aims to establish the marina as a tourism hub, and build on the successful maritime and crayfishing industry activities to create jobs as the development progresses.

The centrepiece of the plan is a new entertainment and recreation precinct, with a pedestrian bridge extending over the water forming the limits of a protected swimming beach.

An eight-lane boat launching facility, parks and additional public spaces are also features of the aspirational long-term vision which is the work of the Two Rocks Marina Reference Group.
