Candidates who had their Practical Driving Assessments (PDA) cancelled due to COVID-19 will have all been contacted by the end of this week, with the Department of Transport (DoT) making more than 10,600 phone calls - meaning the PDA online booking system will become available to customers today (June 5), almost three weeks earlier than anticipated. 

In mid-March, the ability to book C Class PDAs online was suspended and approximately 6,500 non-essential PDA bookings deferred, as all available tests were allocated to essential workers.
