Department of Transport on the move in Wyndham

Department of Transport (DoT) licensing services in Wyndham will relocate to Wyndham Post Office on Thursday 27 July 2023.

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley will continue to provide DoT licensing services until Wednesday 26 July 2023. 

DoT Executive Director Driver and Vehicle Services, Linley Crackel, said Wyndham residents would continue to have choice and convenience when doing their licensing business.

“Wyndham locals will be able to access all the Department of Transport services currently on offer at the Shire office from the new location at the nearby Wyndham Post Office” Ms Crackel said.

“Customers can also manage many of their licensing transactions online using DoTDirect – including payments, licence and vehicle status enquiries, change of addresses, marine payments and checking demerit points.”

The Wyndham Post Office will be able to assist customers with:

• driver and vehicle licence renewal;
• driver licence applications;
• vehicle registrations; 
• change of address;
• WA photo card applications;
• temporary movement permit purchase;
• vehicle ownership transfer; 
• buying optional vehicle licence plates; 
• recreational vessel transfers and payments; and
• Practical Driving Assessments.

Wyndham Post Office, located at 17 Koolinda Street, Wyndham, will provide DoT services between 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
