Major boost for Perth's walking and riding infrastructure

On the back of the recent opening of the Boorloo Bridge, active transport across the Perth metropolitan region has received another major boost with nearly $9 million being allocated to a range of projects by the State Government.

The funding has been provided as part of the metropolitan stream of the WA Bicycle Network Grants Program, with this year's program focusing on better connections to existing public transport infrastructure including METRONET stations.
