Keys4Life program

Find out about the School Drug Education and Road Aware Keys4Life program.

The Keys4Life pre-driver program assists school staff to deliver pre-driver education to Years 10 to 12 students.

Keys4Life aims to upskill young people with positive road user attitudes and an awareness about how to be responsible, safer drivers.

Teachers must attend a one-day professional learning workshop to deliver the Keys4Life program.

Participating students receive free resources and a certificate on successful completion of the program.

After completing the program

If you have completed the Keys4Life program within the last 2 years, you won’t need to complete or pay for a computerised theory test when applying for a learner’s permit to drive a car.

You can also use your Keys4Life completion certificate as a Category C document as part of the identity requirements when applying for a learner's permit.

A Keys4Life completion certificate is valid for 2 years.
